Planning your bridal hair can feel overwhelming — but with the right timeline and a trusted stylist by your side, it's one of the most exciting parts of wedding preparation.
12 Months Before
Start collecting inspiration. Pinterest boards, magazine clippings, and Instagram saves are all great ways to identify the styles, textures, and vibes you're drawn to. This will make your initial consultation much more productive.
6 Months Before
Book your trial appointment. This is your opportunity to test styles, discuss your vision in detail, and make any adjustments to your colour or condition. Don't skip this step — it significantly reduces stress on the day.
3 Months Before
If you're planning a colour treatment, this is the ideal time to reach your target colour. This gives your hair time to settle and for any tweaks to be made before the wedding.
1 Month Before
Book a hair treatment to maximise shine and manageability. Discuss your final styling plan with your stylist — including timing for the day-of appointment.
The Week Before
Wash your hair 1–2 days before the wedding (not the morning of). Freshly washed hair is often too silky to hold styles well.
On the Day
Arrive with clean, dry hair unless your stylist has advised otherwise. Bring any hair accessories, and make sure someone has the dress ready to step into — you don't want to pull anything over your head after your hair is done.
At Signature by Yash, we offer dedicated bridal consultations and trial sessions. Get in touch early — wedding dates book fast.
